Sunday Evening, May 23, 2010, via phone:

Maggie:  “Mike, if I ask you some questions, you’ll answer them and won’t ask me any questions, okay?”

Seneca:  “Okay, honey.”

Maggie:  “Remember when Ace beat me up and left me with that brain damage?”

Seneca, heart plummeting:  “Yes, honey.”

Maggie:  “If I got beat up again, could that make the first injury even worse?”

Seneca:  “I hope not, honey.  Maybe it’ll just be a new injury.  How are you feeling?”

Maggie:  “I’m walking into things, like walls.”

Seneca assumes Maggie is getting beaten by her live-in boyfriend “New Mike”.  Bonnie and Seneca will take her in immediately if she so wishes.  The poor kid seems to have been a human punching bag her whole life.

Tuesday, April 13, 2010:

Reena, age 20, had moved out to live with her mother.  It has been hard for her to live there, as mother is controlling.  She wants to move back-in with Seneca, but can’t.  She and Bonnie are incompatible.

Rather than wait for Bonnie to move out, about late this summer, she got her own place.

She now announces that she must return to stripping in order to pay for her new place.  It disappoints Seneca.  At least she remains in college full-time.

Saturday Morning, March 20, 2010:

Seneca had always known that Lida, age 20, would return, for she had moved-in with a 32-year-old scumbag.  The scumbag was not man-enough to support his woman, so he allowed her to work in a nude strip club to support the two of them.  She had to quit college to do so.

When she lived with Seneca, she was not allowed to do anything unhealthy, such as stripping.  She was ordered to continue full-time in college, and she did.  Because of her young age and the fact that she had become Seneca’s daughter mentally, there was absolutely no romance, just as there was none with Reena and J-Rock.

Seneca worried, with each passing month, that working as a stripper would destroy her freshness and innocence.

Perhaps it did!

On Saturday morning, there’s a knock at the door.  Seneca looks through the peephole and sees a beautiful 22-year-old Russian, Lola, whom he does not yet know.  Lida is also there, but not in view.

Lola is a stripper who works with Lida at the nude strip club.  She has short, white hair and huge eyes.  She is slender, on the tall side, and gorgeous.  Her accent is engaging.

He opens the door and the hugs with Lida are warm and happy. 

Lida is now living with Lola temporarily, as she can no longer take living with the scumbag.

Lida continues to be American stripper-girl perfection.  Her hair is long and feminine.  Her face is young and beautiful.  Her body is slender and curvy.

Perhaps the perfection is surface only.

Lida has twenty months left on an apartment lease.  She needs $1500 to eject the scumbag so she and Lola can move into the apartment she’s paying for.  She has almost three years of payments left on her BMW.  She must continue working as a stripper in order to pay for the lifestyle to which she has committed since leaving Seneca.  She has no college plans.

Seneca is disheartened!

Is she here out of affection for Seneca or is she here to get $1500?

Is Seneca just another john?

Has stripping so degraded her view of men that we are all just objects to be used?

Seneca had dreamed of her return, but the return included her living with him and perhaps Reena, going to college, and no stripping.  That dream is dashed.

Friday Evening, March 12, 2010:

Bonnie is from a distant western state, and one of her girlfriends from home is visiting Chicago this weekend.  Tonight was to be devoted to the celebration of the god Bacchus (what evening isn’t?), and Seneca drove the two to the train station  for re-delivery to Lincoln Park.

Bonnie and Alyse had hoped to spend the weekend with Brett, but he was unavailable.  His lack of interest in two cute 22-year-old girls did confirm his alleged homosexuality to Seneca.  He has become Bonnie’s best friend.

The girls wanted to prepare for the trip downtown by imbibing spirits at home before leaving.  They claimed this would allow them to spend less money in bars needed to achieve the hoped-for state of being.  Thus, Seneca had two girls in the car headed to the train station who were well on their way to full communion with Bacchus!

Seneca’s relationship with Bonnie, after seven months, has evolved into that of being affectionate friends.  In the car, almost drunk, blasting metal-head music to Seneca’s chagrin, Bonnie playfully punches Seneca’s face repeatedly.  She then stiffens in her seat with her arms outstretched, palms down, pretty hands with red fingernail polish frozen in the air.  Her head then begins bobbing wildly, long blonde hair flying, eyes sparkling, flashing a huge smile.

She’s so beautiful tonight!

Ace is the gangbanger who beat Maggie so badly that her heart stopped beating.  He left her for dead in a motel parking lot.

My interpretation of the abbreviation of the “Offense” is that he was convicted of the Manufacture, Delivery, Conspiracy, or Possession with Intent to Sell – Cocaine.

He received a 10-year-sentence.  With time off for good behavior and other credits, he’ll serve only four years.

Imprisonment in Iowa is a further hardship for him, as he will NOT be surrounded by his fellow Chicago Vice Lords.  They make up a significant portion of the population in Illinois prisons.  His uncle wailed to Maggie:  “IOWA!!!  They hate niggers in Iowa!!!”
